Positive evaluation for European funding

ACE Terminal received a positive evaluation for European funding under the CEF-Energy programme for the development of the ACE Terminal project in Rotterdam.

The European funding under the CEF-Energy programme highlights Europe’s recognition of ACE Terminal’s strategic importance within Europe’s future energy infrastructure. ACE Terminal will utilize the CEF-E subsidy for preparatory activities necessary to bring the project to the Final Investment Decision (FID). These activities encompass detailed studies, engineering, permitting processes, project management, and supporting tasks.

Since 2024, ACE Terminal has been a joint initiative of Gasunie and Vopak to develop an open-access import terminal in the Port of Rotterdam, featuring ammonia storage and subsequent ammonia-to-hydrogen conversion capabilities.
